My cousin Lisa has been my most supportive model. I did her maternity pictures this past spring, then her little man's newborn pictures, and now her family pictures.

I photographed this cutie Saturday evening. She was a bit of a change from the immobile newborns I've done in the past but it was fun.

Branding Bars

One of my very favorite photography sites to visit is MCP Actions Blog. Jodi posts TONS of useful photography information and tips. (She also sells Photoshop actions that are high on my want list, but I need to calibrate my monitor before I spend more $$ on anything else.)

As I read through her blog I found a recent post on creating what she calls "Branding Bars" as another way to watermark your photos. I like the look that it gives to photos I've seen with it, so I decided to try it out. I LOVE the extra color that it adds to my blog. Of course, I also had to make a new watermark to fit nicely in my side branding bar.

Happy Family {Uintah Basin Family Photography}

I got to photograph some close family friends Friday evening. My parents have been friends with Lyn and Liana since before I was born and I grew up with Callie, Cindy, Sara, and Levi. It's so fun to see them with their own kiddos and spouses now. You might recognize Sara from her maternity photos that I did earlier this year, and Levi and Charity from some shots I took at their wedding reception.
